now, here is a lush trippy music video by the depreciation guild. this song is reminiscent of my bloody valentine & a bit of the cocteau twins. i am quite in love with this. the music and the vocals are very dreamy. i remember listening to their music earlier this year when they had put out an album ("in her gentle jaws") on their website for free to download. it's nintendo bits meets shoe-gaze. lovely.

I can definitely hear the Cocteau Twins in this and it makes me want to further explore their albums. I've only heard Head Over Heels. It's raining out and I'm looking at the top rated Etheral-Wave albums on rateyourmusic..haha. I never even knew there was a such genre term. Nice pictures, by the way:)

i actually haven't heard "head over heels" but i've listened to "heaven or las vegas", "blue bell knoll", and "four-calendar cafe". there was a mix of rain/snow here for a brief moment and the temperature dropped to around 30-40 degrees today. there are a lot of strange genre terms i haven't heard of either. i don't have an account on rateyourmusic but it's a neat site to look for new music albums to listen to based on the reviews. aww thanks matt!
