the end, but only the beginning

water/lights/shift
* * *
the field is breathing

Tremble with a sigh
Glitter in your eye
You seem to come and go
I never seem to know
And all my time
Is yours as much as mine
We never have enough
Time to show our love

or was it sweden?

keeping it simply, i just spent the new year with the only person in the world for me. he says his beating heart is mine. my heart beats for him. we understand each other completely that the universe has pulled us together.

smiles all around

exploring the cities of new york, boston, and providence
x
experiencing his life with his family & friends
x
smiling, lots of this!
x
being mallrats
x
finally playing scrabble
x
eating a silent sushi dinner
x
seeing a bunny appear in the middle of the night
x
deep, deep conversations
as well as humourous ones... "i don't know" in the dark, in the light, anywhere without much sleep
x
dreaming & feeling/getting lost while watching time pass together
x
listening to Ágætis byrjun ("a good beginning" in icelandic...how fitting) as snow falls
x
exchanging necklaces
x
an unexplainable understanding
x
9:11, 1:11, 4:32
x
every moment seemed magical, perfect

***
now at 200 miles apart,
i miss him dearly
carrying your heart,
lisa

Ahhhh and I'm so very lucky to be that only person! I never ever ever had any idea that Ágætis byrjun meant "a good beginning." Well, not for the longest time. Neat how I hadn't listened to it in years and then we put it on together while driving. Hah! Another great coincidence.

thanks susanna-cole! that "poem" are actually lyrics taken from a song called "Vapour Trail" by Ride. it's gorgeous, both musically and in words.
